Mourning and White Wing Dove Hunting is available in the central and South dove hunting zones of Uvalde, Medina, Zavala and Frio counties. For this specific type of bird hunting, Texas opens the dove season in September and ends it in October. WWR has several pre-packaged hunting options for you to choose from, or you may design your own custom hunt. If you are interested in bird hunting, Texas is the natural habitat for several species of birds. Quail season in South Texas opens in October and extends through February. WWR can now offer limited availability wild Bobwhite Quail hunts. Our most popular package includes 2 days of hunting, 2 nights of first-class accommodations in our new lodge, meals, an evening bar, sporting clays, bird cleaning, bird dogs and a personal guide. For a shorter hunt, you can choose a day hunt with lunch and dinner. The day hunt package includes lunch, sporting clays, an afternoon hunt, bird cleaning, bird dogs and a personal guide. Another type of wing shooting offered at our ranch is Mourning and White Wing Dove Hunting. The all inclusive hunt packages are located in the South zone and include 2 days of hunting, 2 nights of first-class accommodations in our new lodge, meals, an evening bar, sporting clays and bird cleaning. We also offer day hunt packages if you are too busy for 2 nights at our new lodge or if you are having a corporate retreat.
