Texas Deer Hunting for 130 inch to 230 inch class Whitetail Bucks - Wilson Whitetail Ranch and Lodge is accredited with producing more Whitetail Bucks in the biggest Whitetail Deer contest in the country than any other ranch over the past two seasons. Deer hunting on our Texas hunting ranch will provide you the best opportunity in Texas at taking your personal best Whitetail Deer and experience a true quality Texas deer hunting experience. 2008 Texas Deer Hunting Season Highlights:

WWR produced a record setting 2008 Whitetail Deer season with an impressive 16 Whitetail Deer scoring over 160"s. We did not break our ranch record of 227" but the ranch still produced 2 Whitetail Deer scoring over 200"s. In the largest Whitetail Deer contest in the country, http://loscazadores.com/, WWR had the most entries over 180" than of any other Texas hunting ranch or outfitter.

2007 Texas Deer Hunting Season Highlights:

WWR produced a record setting 2007 Whitetail Deer season with an impressive 14 Whitetail Deer scoring over 160". Our previous ranch record of 184" was shattered with 1 Whitetail Deer scoring 195, and 3 Whitetail Deer scoring over 200" with our new ranch record scoring 227". There is no minimum age when Deer Hunting in Texas with an adult and your non-resident TPWD Deer Hunting license is $300 ($6 for youths). There are no units, no tag draws or waiting list.

Economy Buck Hunt - $2,500:

This is a 2 night/3 day hunt for a Whitetail buck that will not score above 129” gross and includes: luxury lodging in double occupancy suites, comfortable queen size beds, quality linens, separate climate control, a private bathroom, gourmet meals, airport transfers, personal guide, game field dressing, delivery to local taxidermist and meat processor.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Ranch arrival 1-2 PM, guest registration, orientation, sight in at firing range, afternoon hunt with personal guide, appetizers, and gourmet dinner.
Day 2: Wake-up at 5:30 AM, continental breakfast, morning hunt with personal guide, hot brunch, relax time, early afternoon snack, late afternoon hunt, appetizers, and gourmet dinner.
Day 3: Wake-up at 5:30 AM, continental breakfast, morning hunt with personal guide, hot brunch, check out 11AM

South Texas Classic Whitetail Deer Hunt #1 - $3,500:

This is a 2 night/3 day hunt for a classic Texas Whitetail buck (typically big 8, 9) that will not score above 139” gross and includes: luxury lodging in double occupancy suites, comfortable queen size beds, quality linens, separate climate control, a private bathroom, gourmet meals, airport transfers, personal guide, game field dressing, delivery to local taxidermist and meat processor.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Ranch arrival 1-2 PM, guest registration, orientation, sight in at firing range, afternoon hunt with personal guide, appetizers, and gourmet dinner.
Day 2: Wake-up at 5:30 AM, continental breakfast, morning hunt with personal guide, hot brunch, relax time, early afternoon snack, late afternoon hunt, appetizers, and gourmet dinner.

South Texas Classic Whitetail Deer Hunt #2 - $4,500:

This is a 2 night/3 day hunt for a classic Texas Whitetail buck (typically big 8, 9) that will not score above 149” gross and includes: luxury lodging in double occupancy suites, comfortable queen size beds, quality linens, separate climate control, a private bathroom, gourmet meals, airport transfers, personal guide, game field dressing, delivery to local taxidermist and meat processor.

South Texas Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunt - $1,500 + kill fee:

This is a 4 day/3 night hunt for big Texas Style Trophy Whitetail Deer scoring 150”s up to 250”s and includes: luxury lodging in double occupancy suites, comfortable queen size beds, quality linens, separate climate control, a private bathroom, gourmet meals, airport transfers, personal guide, game field dressing, delivery to local taxidermist and meat processor.

THE GUIDES ROLE is to enforce our Texas deer hunting safety policies, assist at the site in range, ranch tours, estimate the age and score of trophy, call a clear shot, determine hit or miss, track and recover if possible, field dress, quarter up, ice down meat, tape and measure, transport to local meat processor, contests, and taxidermist.

WOUNDED GAME, it is the guides call on a hit and payment is required on hit and wounded animals not recovered. The guide staff will make multiple attempts to recover wounded game. Tracking dogs and helicopters are available please call for rates. If we find the animal after your departure from your Texas deer hunting trip, we will take the trophy to the taxidermist. Replacement capes if necessary are available from our ranch or taxidermist for a fee.

TROPHY FEES, all Whitetail Deer estimated in the high 160’s + class will be scored by an unbiased 3rd party (if available) such as Los Cazadores as the final gross score in which payment is determined from. It is impossible to expect a guide to estimate the score of a whitetail deer on the hoof accurately. Please understand that the final score determines the trophy fee.
